I think B and even W & J would love to have this. What guy (or girl) wouldn't?

Holiday Gifts

I'm on the hunt for holiday gifts. I think this year I may go gifts from the kitchen route. Here are a few ideas from Sunset. I LOVE the ribbons, tags, and labels on these jars. It's all in the packaging! Love! Love! Love! I can see a fun filled weekend of jarring!

Olive & Cocoa

For those who were heartbroken when they drove by and saw Artichokes & Company closed (I was), you can rejoice. Holly (former owner) is now the Creative Director for Olive & Cocoa. Same look and feel, just different owners. Have a look at the fabulous gifts and get inspired!

I would love to receive these lovelies!

makemarkers.org

A few years back I was searching for a holiday gift to send our friend's children. Since they live in the Bay Area I wanted to find something that when I sent it, wouldn't cost more than the gift itself. I stumbled across markmakers.org.

You can purchase gift cards in any denomination and the recipient can choose which category to donate to. I think this is a great way for children to learn the act of charity and that they can make a difference. My girlfriend said that her children loved choosing which charity to give to. Imagine that, a gift and a lesson learned!

Grown Up Grab Bag

Remember when you were little and you used to go to a store that had a basket with "grab bags?" They ranged from $1.00 to $5.00 and you just never knew what was in the bag. I remember the anticipation of opening the the bag when I got home, hidden treasures and gems I wouldn't have normally purchased. Well, here is the grown up version of the grab bag. I hope you enjoy the anticipation of the grab bag and get some fun items as well!

Berry Red

It's great when you find a new site, but it's bad when you want everything they have to offer. Let me introduce you to Berry Red. There were so many things to choose from I couldn't decide, but in the end I chose to share with you their fun, fun ribbon.

If you're looking for an environmentally sound gift, visit Poppytalk Handmade. This site features artists from around the world that make eco-friendly goods. They change their artists throughout the year and each month has a theme. Currently it's a Spring/Easter theme. Here is a list of their scheduled themes.

Go-To Store

Go-to store? Yup, you know, that certain store you go to when you need a present? Well, mine is Hip & Humble (1043 East 900 South). They have everything from fun kitchen gadget and bath goodies to fabulous jewelry and the hottest trends in fashion (clothes and accessories). I recently went there for a hostess gift and found these fun bird clips. No more "bag clips" for your chips. These are too cute!

Jess Brown Dolls

How sweet are these little dolls? I love how she dyes the cotton muslin to create different skin tones. And she uses primarily recycled materials and antique fabrics to make these hand-me-down looking gals. So the next time you need a birthday gift get your hands on one of these.
