The Genius of Tim Burton

Tim Burton's adaptation of Alice in Wonderland is set to premiere March 5, 2010. I can't wait to see what he has in store for us through his eyes. See the trailer here from an earlier post. But, if you are lucky enough to be in New York between now and April 26, 2010 stop by the MoMA to see an exhibit of Burton's work. The curators dug through mountains of his doodles and sketches and from the looks of it put together an amazing retrospective.

Alice In Wonderland

Seriously, Tim Burton and Johnny Depp can do no wrong. I might be the last person to know that they are collaborating on a new version of Alice in Wonderland. Thanks to my friend K she has enlightened me to the trailer. Have a look. Everything in this movie is absolutely gorgeous to the eyes (as all Burton movies are). All the colors, textures, and details. Love, love, love! BTW, I'm DIEING over the dress that Alice has on. Can someone make me this dress?

What To See?

I know you remember Maurice Sendak's Where the Wild Things Are. I hope the movie is just as magical!
