StoryCorps

As some of you know I'm an NPR fanatic. I listen to it all the time in the car, at work, and at home. W even knows the theme music to Morning Edition and All Things Considered (and he's only 6). There is one program that I NEVER miss and that's StoryCorps. If you listen to KUER (90.1 FM) locally, it comes on at 8:25 am every Friday. If I get to the office around that time, I will sit in the car and listen to it before I get out of my car or try to get to my desk before. If I'm cutting it close, I'll opt to stay in the car rather than risk missing the program. I know, I know I can go online and find it but it's just not the same. The mission of StoryCorps is to honor and celebrate one another's lives through listening. Along with the Library of Congress, NPR has collected over 35,000 stories from everyday people since 2003. Have a listen on Fridays at 8:25 am. I know you'll get hooked. Oh, and BTW make sure you have some tissues handy. Listen and you'll find out why...
