Perspective

I want to share with you my Friday morning passion, Story Corps. Just when you think YOU'VE had a hard day or week, the stories you hear on Story Corps lift you up and put it all in perspective. Here is this week's story along with a story a few weeks back.

Can You Believe This?

Another eye opening story I heard on NPR this morning. I'm posting this not because I'm for or against the sales tax on soda but for the nutritional information (or lack there of) of soda. Have a listen, you may cut back or stop your soda intake as well...
Note: I stopped drinking soda 19 years ago. Give it a try!

Jay Smooth of Ill Doctrine
NPR stoggy? Nah. I was introduced to Jay Smooth and his Ill Doctrine blog yesterday while listening to All Things Considered. His blog may not be for everyone but I think this video is worth watching.

A Mother's Day Story

This morning I was listening to my Friday addiction, Story Corps. It's story of a mom who gave up her daughter for adoption and years later how they reunited. It's a wonderful story of love, understanding, respect, and compassion. Have a listen. It will make you realize what is really important. Have a wonderful Mother's Day!
